Sushi rice. Easily made and ready in 13 minutes!
Put the rice in a strainer bowl. Wash it under running water until the water is clear.
Put the rice in a pot, add the water and cover the pot with a lid leaving it very slightly open for the steam to go just a little bit out.
Cook it on high heat for the first 2 minutes, then bring it to low heat. Continue to cook it for 11 minutes. Keep the lid on the pot.
In a small pan prepare the seasoning: put the rice vinegar, the salt and the sugar in it. Heat it until the salt and sugar have melted.
If there is water left, continue cooking it until you do not see any water.
Time to take it out of the pan: use a wooden spoon to take the rice from the pan to a bowl. If there is any rice sticking to the bottom, do not try to scrap it. It might be burned and will not be amazing. So just use what comes off easily.
Add the seasoning into the bowl, mix with with the wooden spoon and let it cool down.
